"Beachside Seafood Market And Restaurant Beachside Seafood Market & Restaurant is one of Jacksonville Beach's favorite establishments. Come dine on fresh seafood on our family style open-air deck, and enjoy fresh-fried grouper, crab cake sandwich or our famous shrimp burger (voted top 75 things to eat in Jacksonville). Beachside Seafood is passionate about offering the freshest seafood you can find in the Jacksonville area. The Seafood Market offers a wide variety of locally caught fish, shrimp, crab and more. Beachside Seafood is famous for fresh mayport shrimp, tasty crabs, fresh grouper filets, king crab, and Florida lobsters (in-season). We are a locally owned and operated family business. Fish sold in our Market and served in our Restaurant is purchased and filleted the same day. Fresh seafood is not the only thing we serve on our open deck restaurant! Come try the local favorite, Beachside Seafood's Cheese Steak Sandwich, voted best in Jacksonville by these local magazines: Best of Jacksonville - Water's Edge - Go. Add your choice of toppings and enjoy! Want just an appetizer and cold beer? Try our Oyster Shooters served raw in a "Shooter Cup" Hot & Spicy, or Fresh Fish Dip & crackers. How about a Fish Taco - sweet white flaky fish, fried, grilled or blackened or a Seafood Burrito - large tortilla stuffed with shrimp, scallops and crabmeat, seasoned & topped with cheese and salsa. Sound good so far? Well lunch is served 7 days a week and all menu items are available for take-out!"

Joe's Crab Shack

"Admittedly kitschy, unavoidably noisy, this Red Lobster for rug rats is like an oversized seaside shanty awash in oceanic memorabilia--fishing nets, souvenir trinkets, plastic flotsam and jetsam. Staffed with a lively crew of G-rated table-dancing servers, the family-friendly chain anchors its menu in all things crab: Crab balls, crab cakes, crab dip, crab gumbo."

"Formed in 1992, ABET was the answer to a lack of original scripts and challenging plays like Chekhov, Turgenev, O'Neill, Synge, and O'Casey; plus musicals in their local debut: 1940's Radio Hour, Smoke on the Mountain, Little Mary Sunshine, done elsewhere, but not locally. Led by Artistic Director Carson Merry Baillie and three drama graduates who had taken her drama workshop, a full season was launched in Sept. 1992. Since our beginning, we have brought some 15 new scripts to our stage, some by local playwrights, others from as far as Kansas, Virginia, and Seattle, many traveled here to attend their opening night. We still read plays given to us, but have not found exciting ones we could manage in several years. We are proud of introducing 15 Broadways productions in their local premiere, including two Neil Simon comedies, plays by A.R, Gurney, and young Irish playwrights: Conor McPherson and Martin McDonough, hits in the U.K. and N.Y., but not previously seen here. ABET has been the happy recipient of grants from the Jacksonville Cultural Council, the City of Jacksonville, the Tom Nehl Fund of the Community Foundation, and private donors; and above all, we would not be in our 12th season if it were not for the backing of our wonderful city: Atlantic Beach!"

"This is the oldest established Beach Bar \ Night Club in Jacksonville and the Beach. We offer a wide verity of live entertainment and have the only Gay & Lesbian Night Club at the Beaches serving the community since 1964 and am very proud of that. We also have the most relaxing patio bar in our garden a nice quite place to get away from the incredible dance music in the main bar. With that in mind our club is over 6000sq ft with one of the largest dance floors in Jacksonville , with a all new video screen 16ft. for our football party's and live concerts as well as many other great shows. We have a mixed crowd with no drama. I you not in a party mood than this is not the place for you. In the many years that I have been in business as a Club owner I have been very proud of having the ability to have a place where there is no discrimination and do not tolerate it at all, where everyone is welcome and we mean everyone Located just one block off the ocean (Where the natives are restless and very friendly.)"

Culhane's Irish Pub Restrnt

"Culhane's Irish Pub & Restaurant is a place of camaraderie where old friends meet new friends. It exemplifies the best of Irish hospitality, where we are devoted to excellent grub, service, and pints...all the while enjoying true Irish ambiance. We (The Sisters) were born and raised in Co. Limerick, Ireland; a city in the province of Munster. County Limerick is a place of quiet beauty and rural charm. It's gentle undulating landscape is pleasing to the eye from rural mountains of Ballyhoura, the beautiful Golden Vale in the east of the County through to the tidal estuary of the River Shannon. A particular feature of the county is its range of attractive towns like beautiful Castleconnell by the Shannon or Adare - which is possibly Ireland's prettiest village - with its old thatched cottages and medieval churches. Limerick has a proud sporting tradition as the spiritual home of Irish rugby and as such is chiefly renowned for its rugby heritage, including the famous Garryowen rugby club, after which the high rugby kick is named. It is our hope that we have brought to the States a piece of Ireland and that you will make the Culhane's Irish Pub part of your life and Community. We thank you for stopping by, and we will see you at the pub."

"Fly's Tie is a lot of fun. If you're between the ages of 21 and 35, you'll probably feel right at home in this low-key, wood-paneled bar. It's slightly kitchy, which you'd expect from an Irish themed bar, but it serves many beers on tap and has nice, friendly staff. The people who go to the bar on a regular basis are also friendly--you'll find no pretention here. A definite jeans and t-shirt kind of place. Guinness--they double pour it right! Lynch's Irish Pub
514 1st St NJacksonville Bch, FL, United States
"Lynch's Irish Pub was opened on September 1994 by the late Desmond Michael Lynch of Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. Des's vision was to bring a taste of Ireland to Jacksonville and set about building up his business with hard work, determination and very little money! He brought much of the interior of the Pub to Florida in suitcases after trips home to Ireland, although he often had problems with customs officials when trying to explain why he had items such as a farmer's plough, old cart wheels and Gaelic street signs in his possession Nevertheless, Des wanted to make people feel as comfortable as possible in his establishment and went to great lengths when preparing his menu, beer selection and entertainment."
