Our Favorite Restaurants:

Our Favorite Restaurants:

Old Venice, Italian

2910 Canon St

For a more casual dinner, I really recommend the pizza. The food is fresh and they have a nice selection of wine. They also have a wine bar that is connected to the restaurant. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, wonderful food!"

Our Favorite Restaurants:

Rama Thai

327 4th Ave
San Diego, CA 92101, US

"One of the best Thai restaurants around. The decor has a nice calm vibe. There is a waterfall running down the wall in the back room. I went there right when it first opened and there were artists still painting the murals on the walls in the back."

Our Favorite Restaurants:

South Beach (fish tacos, seafood, beer)

5059 Newport Ave
San Diego, CA 92107, US

"The specialty here is seafood, and this being San Diego, that means tacos of grilled shark and mahi, fried calamari, barbecued oysters and such. The prices are reasonable for the frequently delicious food: A mere $2.95 for the mahi taco and knock down a buck during happy hour."

Our Favorite Restaurants:

The Mission (great breakfast)

3795 Mission Blvd

"Old Town San Diego, the first European settlement in what is now California, is called the state's birthplace. In 1769, Spanish priest Father Junipero Serra founded California's first mission here. The mission eventually moved further inland, and 1820s settlers moved closer to the water into the Gaslamp Quarter, leaving "Old Town" behind. Today's Old Town San Diego centers on the oldest area. It includes a state historic park and related historic sights outside the park. History afficionados will find plenty of interest, but most people come to shop and eat in the restaurants."
