"The starting point for Pasadena's annual Rose Parade is this museum featuring European art from the 14th through the 19th century, as well as Asian and Modern and Contemporary collections. They're open till 9 on Friday nights and offer free admission with a student id, which means Anonymous and Anonymous have gotten caught at 9:30 running home in the rain on occasion."

"Known to us as "The Cheap Theater," this cinema has provided much of our entertainment while in graduate school--including one of our first not-quite-dates, in which Anonymous celebrated with Anonymous the completion of her half-marathon by watching Johnny Depp as a gangster in the earlier part of the 20th century. Tickets are just $3 a person unless you catch a show before 6pm, in which case, they're $2."

The Huntington also has European and American Art Collections, and The Rose Garden Tea Room and Cafe, which requires reservations, is a lovely place to enjoy a buffet of finger foods, scones and tea while looking out at three acres of roses.
