Hi Verna,

The cenre 2000 worked great for us. The inside is very beautiful as is, so there isn't much decorations needed. There were a few issues to work around such as the fact that it's also the tourist information centre and is open everyday so we couldn't start our function until they were closed (7PM for us, but I do believe it's a bit earlier than that during the winter months) and all your things need to be cleared immediately after your banquet. They'll let you in earlier to set up a few things but we had to find someone to go and set up the tables and cake and such in between the ceremony and reception. Also they have no kitchen in house so your caterer needs to be one that can work around that. We used Gavins Custom Catering and it was delicious!! I believe it will hold up to 120 people but I could be wrong. I found Cindy from the chamber of commerce upstairs to be very helpful. If you have any other questions she knows it all, and has many good ideas. And if you do choose centre 2000 she will go out of her way to do what she can to help you, and she has lists of caterers, DJ's, and such that have worked in the space before. I loved the building and would choose it again. It may not have been ideal to deconstruct everything at 2AM after a long day, but everyone there helped and the whole thing was so beautiful it was well worth it!!! Hope this helped!

I don't have any pictures of the outside of the building. It looks pretty old from the outside, but the inside is nice. I'm trying to figure out how to add pictures for you to see the inside. There is a stage that's framed by a wooden viking boat...it's quite neat! There is a small bar in the back corner, and I believe there is a kitchen in the basement...I can't remember for sure though!
