ANDREEA AND NATE'S WEDDING

May, 2010 in Red Bank

"Our wedding was wonderful - even though May is a fickle month in terms of weather, it ended up being a gorgeous day....we had cancelled the chairs since we were going to do the wedding inside..the weather reports all said we'd have thunderstorms, but it ended up being beautiful and we did it outside anyway, using the tables and chairs that came with the back deck - very casual and relaxed and beautiful."

"Here's a little deli that offers a little of anything...mostly to go, though, since they don't have much seating. But if you're looking for a little picnic take away, this is a good choice."

"Red Bank is "the place" around here if you want good restaurants, live music, and activity..it has one street (Broad Street) where most of activity happens, with little side streets...enjoy! Just park your car and check it out. :)"

Attraction:

Sandy Hook

Rt. 36 at Hartshorne Dr
Fort Hancock, NJ, United States

"This whole peninsula is beautiful - a short drive to the tip, but tons of beaches you can pass by...some are for fishing, some for hand gliding, some for regular swimming...enjoy :) There's also one restaurant (only one) right on the island which overlooks both the bay and the ocean...a treat, if you're here only once. Enjoy!"

Attraction:

Twin Lights Lighthouse

2 Light House Rd
Highlands, NJ, United States

"This is one of the oldest lighthouses in NJ, with a beautiful view. Pretty cheap, also, to visit (I think $3 per person)."

Fun Beach:

Borough of Sea Bright: Public Beach Ocean Av

1099 Ocean Ave
Sea Bright, NJ, United States

"This is a free beach and open to the public - during the summer, however, they charge $10 or so per person until 4:00 p.m. This is where we most often go, after 4 or 5 in the afternoon, when people leave but the sun is still hot enough to enjoy....a little solitude in this great big world of rushing around. We love it :)"
