"On the expensive side, but they did great work! Jennipher works wonderfully with curly hair, and mine came out just how I had pictured. All of my bridesmaids also had their hair done, and were happy with how it turned out. They even served us fresh fruit and champagne!"

"Great affordable option (cost of a permit through the parks department) for a ceremony location. Must have a back-up plan, of course, in case of rain, but you can't beat the view! It can be a little loud since the BQE runs underneath the promenade, and you must be comfortable with having a public ceremony (we had a ton of people watching our ceremony from the sidewalk above). Other than that, it worked out really well."

"We absolutely loved Bubby's!! It had such a fun, laid-back feeling, while still providing great service and delicious food! The open feeling of the restaurant works perfectly for a wedding and encourages a lot of mingling. We had about 140 guests, which was a lot for their downstairs, but the coziness was exactly what we had hoped for."

"All of our guests who stayed here had nothing but good feedback to give us. The rooms aren't huge, but by NY standards, they were larger than average. Also, they have a pool and gym, and provide free breakfast in the mornings."

Brooklyn Bridge - Attraction - Brooklyn Bridge, New York, NY, USA

Brooklyn Bridge

"We highly recommend talking a walk across the bridge while you're here. There are great views from here and it's a lot of fun! A definite must!"

Entrance to the Promenade

"The Brooklyn Heights Promenade begins/ends here and goes all the way down to the other end, where the ceremony is taking place. There are exit points along the way, but it's worth walking the entire length of it just for the gorgeous views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and many of the city's bridges"

South Street Seaport

"There are tons of seafood restaurants and fun shops here. Take the 2/3 train to Fulton St and walk toward the water."
