"Yardhouse is one of our very favorite restaurants around Golden. Attached to the Colorado Mills Mall, it offers great cuisine and over 100 beers on tap! With two daily happy hours (3-6pm and 10pm-midnight) offering half-priced appetizers and drink specials, you can see why we go once a week or so!"

"The Colorado Mills Mall is Golden's very own outlet mall. Stores include Saks 5th Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Gap, Oakley, Nike, and many others. Great shopping is inside the mall and across the street in the Denver West strip mall. Our favorite places to eat include Yard House (with 100+ beers on tap and two daily happy hours), Chipotle, Hops (in-house brews, great food, and a late-night happy hour), and Mimi's Cafe. Or, catch a flick in one of the two United Artists movie theaters."

The summer is show season in the amphitheater, so if you'd like to tour the park without all the crowds, arrive late morning or early afternoon."
