San Juan, PR, Puerto Rico

"I contracted several services through WedAffair, including flowers for the ceremony and getting the marriage license paperwork ready for us. We worked with Carmen and she was great. She was always very prompt in answering our questions via e-mail and made the whole process with the marriage license go smoothly. They offer a variety of services through their company. Carmen was also very nice in answering random questions I had at the beginning of my wedding planning (which sometimes were a lot!!). It was very pleasant to work with her. We received our marriage license about 2.5 weeks after the wedding."

Wanda Garcia

San Juan, PR, Puerto Rico

"Wanda Garcia was an excellent choice as my wedding planner. We hired her as a 'day of' the wedding coordinator, but she did so much more than that. She was very professional and very transparent in her communications with me. She knows the business well and was able to recommend superb vendors. She was also always available via e-mail or phone. Although I had lived in Puerto Rico, trying to plan my wedding from Michigan was a challenge, thus having someone like Wanda to help with the details was a big relief to me. She also checked out the main venue for me which I booked without having seen. She made sure the venue worked for our purposes and worked with Gadiel Valentin, an amazing florist, to decorate the venue to our liking. We were very happy with her work and honestly, if anything went wrong or was out of place the day of the wedding, I never knew because she was there to take care of everything. She made everything that day run smoothly and everything was perfect!"

NDF Films

San Juan, PR, Puerto Rico

"I can't say enough about Nelson and his crew. They were very easy to work with and were always on top of things. And his work is amazing! We received a 'highlights of the wedding' video within two weeks after the wedding. The quality of the video is amazing, all my friends and family have been commenting on what a great short video it is. We got our complete video within a month of the wedding. Again, the quality is AMAZING... and it does not bore people. He really focused on the special moments of the wedding and made sure to capture all the guests at their best. I would recommend NDF films to anyone without hesitation."

Over two million visitors a year explore theme windswept ramparts and pageways, where the history of 400 years of Spain in Puerto Rico comes alive."

El Yunque National Forest

""Located on the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico in the Greater Antilles group, the El Yunque National Forest is the sole tropical rain forest in the U.S. National Forest System. The forest’s relatively small 28, 000 acre size belies its importance. It differs significantly from all the other U.S. National Forests because of its year-round tropical climate and immense biodiversity"."

Fort San Cristóbal

"Fort San Cristobal was built to protect the city from land attacks. It stands where the eastern gate to the walled city of Old San Juan was located back in the 1800s, when the wall completely surrounded the city. Fort San Cristobal has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site - don't miss it!"

Ceremony & Reception Venue:

San Juan Water And Beach Club

2 Tartak Street
Carolina, PR, United States

"This venue was perfect for our wedding. We had a day time ceremony on the beach (right outside the hotel) followed by a cocktail hour and brunch at the hotel's foyer and Olas salon. We had about 60 guests which was about the right number for a sit-down meal. Getting married in October was great because it still is low season in PR and that kept some of our costs down. And we got lucky and had perfect weather the day of our wedding (October is the end of hurricane season!). One of the reasons I chose this venue for my wedding was their sales/event person that I started working with. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Unfortunately she is no longer there. She left a bit before our wedding so we had a bit of miscommunication issues transitioning to a different events person. Once that was resolved however, everything went smoothly. The hotel is very nice and the location is great. We had a lot of out of town guests thus it was important that they could get places walking. This hotel's location was great for that. We were also looking for an intimate venue and we certainly got that at the Beach Club. The front desk staff at the hotel are amazing. They were very friendly and helpful all the time. They went the extra mile to make us and our guests feel special. If you are looking for an intimate venue on a beach setting for your wedding, you should consider this venue. AND using wedding mapper interactive map to let our out of town guests know where everything was, was really helpful. We imbedded the map on our wedding website and guests were able to plan their stay in PR very easily following our recommendations. They loved the fact that by clicking on the map they could not only get information for the attraction but also directions on how to get to/from there. I love it!"
