Venus On the Half Shell

"Our experience holding our ceremony and reception at Venus was fantastic! The food was great, the decor was beautiful but not stuffy, and the staff was very helpful. This is definitely not the venue for all types of weddings and wedding guests, but if you're interested in a beach-style wedding without the hassles of actually holding your wedding on the beach, this is the perfect fit! We're from Maryland, so it was very cost effective to have our wedding in Delaware (no sales tax!). We were able to do a lot more with our budget by having our ceremony and reception at Venus, and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. If possible, visit during the summer and have dinner at Venus - you'll be hooked!"
