Hi, I was wondering about the slices of tree that you used for your centerpieces. Did you cut them yourself (how?), buy them (where?) or were they provided by the venue? I saw your feature in Martha Stewart Wedddings and loved the idea. Just trying to figure out how to do it. They were the perfect size. Thanks!

Hi Kelly,

Thanks so much for getting back with me. I do actually have a couple questions. Did you use a chainsaw and then sand them down? How far in advance did you cut them (I'm afraid of shrinking & cracking), was the tree dead and do you know what kind of tree it was? Your wedding looked very beautiful from the pictures. Thanks again.
