"I had my heart set on a Maggie Sottero dress and found the perfect gown here. The girls that work here (the owners' daughters) are great and are very helpful in making suggestions. I ended up getting and loving a dress I had bypassed on my own but Monica suggested. They were willing to negotiate a bit with the prices too. The actual salon resembles a warehouse more than many bridal salons but once you are in a beautiful gown that doesn't seem to matter. Highly recommend! :)"

Mill Valley, CA, USA"We loved working with Jill and her staff. We loved her design right away and I remember telling her "I didn't even know this is exactly what I wanted but it is." We were both a little surprised by how well she was able to take our simple ideas and a few pictures and create such a beautiful design. When we arrived at the reception, we noticed a slightly different but beautiful cake. We had asked for color decoration & this cake was ivory. It also turned out to be fondant instead of buttercream frosting. After the wedding, we let Jill & her staff know about the differences in what we ordered & the cake we received. Jill was extremely apologetic and handled the issue like an absolute professional. We were really blown away by how much she & her staff believe in pleasing the customer and making sure they live up to their obviously high expectations. We can't wait until March when we get our 1 year anniversary cake & will continue to highly recommend Branching Out Cakes!"

"Sarah was great and really worked hard to make sure my ladies & I looked gorgeous for my big day. She did my hair & makeup, make-up for my Maid of Honor/sister and mother, and hair for my mother-in-law. Everyone looked great & Sarah stayed super calm despite the chaos of a bunch of girls getting ready for a wedding in a hotel suite! We did a trial a few months before the big day and I found that very helpful as we had a chance to get my look together before the craziness of the day set-in."

"This church is so unique and has such a sense of history. We instantly knew this was it when the church came into view as we rounded a curve on the small winding road up the hill to the church. It is a magical, white, one room church from the 1800s sitting alone on a rare wildflower preserve- does it get any better?! Actually, yes! We were equally blown away by the unbelievable view- a perfect view of the bay and SF. None of our guests were from the bay area and were stunned by the sheer beauty of Marin & 6 months later still ask us how we ever managed to find such a perfect wedding location. By the way, since the site is owned by a non-profit preservation society, it's was also nice to know our site fee went to helping with preservation efforts. It's also partly tax-deductible!"
