October, 2009 in Spring"Our wedding was a blast! Getting married in October in Houston was perfect. The weather was wonderful. We had an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception. Oh, and Wedding Mapper was a great resource to share with our guests and not to mention totally fun to use. We'd highly recommend using it! We printed off our map and inserted it in with our invites."

"Very beautiful landscape. Beautiful big deck available for the ceremony. The lost one of the best catering managers they had this year 09. Hotel part was okay, staff was rather put off, some not so friendly. Resort was definitely pricey, not so sure it was worth all the money. They totally nickel and dime you. They also hid the taxes from us. They told us we had not met our budget yet for the room we were renting, but in fact we did if you included all the tax and tips that were automatically included in the bill. We ended up going way over our budget to meet a "quota" or minimum that in fact we were over. Nice..huh?"

"Market Street boasts an impressive collection of more than 70 stores, boutiques and restaurants nestled in a charming setting reminiscent of the town squares of yesteryear. There are a variety of shops to go to and a movie theatre as well as dining places and some with outdoor patios. They have water taxi rides and much more. Also they have live jazz music on certain nights of the week and scheduled story time for the kids. They are also adding on so there should be more fun coming soon!"
