"Our cake and cupcakes were excellent. Overall they do an excellent job and give you what you pay for. We just had a few burnt cupcakes but overall our guests loved them and do did we. Ray the baker or cake decorater was also very friendly and was great during the process."

"The food at the Waters went beyond our expecations for our wedding! Everythign was prepared was warm and displayed exactly how they told us. Our guests loved the food and were impressed it was so good. The staff was also very helpful and treated us very well. The tasting also went very well and was helpful in the process."

"The DJ service overall was more professional than others in the area. The DJ we had was rude to the people at The Waters regarding the noise from the music. He was however very good to our guests and even stayed later then he had planned. He had to drive from Minocqua to Stevens Point after our wedding. He did ask a lot of questions regarding the music and perhaps should have been more informed prior to our wedding of what we wanted."

"Mr. Nemish was very professional and did an excellent job with our pictures. He also tried to make our guests laugh when taking pictures and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. I wish we had better weather. I would have enjoyed more Northwoods outdooor photos. We will get them in the future when we come back again. He did an excellent job and was worth the price we paid. Our photos were done very quickly and I was able to order a reasonably priced book with all of our wedding photos."

"I would recommend Mike Michalik to anyone. He is incredibly friendly, he puts his heart and soul into his work and he loves to video tape weddings. He made everyone feel comfertable and was excellent at his craft. My brother and dad apperciated his fishing tips on our pontoon boat ride. He capitivated what I hoped he would and made us a truly amazing wedding video. He is excellent and very friendly down to earth guy. 10/10 :)"

"The ceremony was great and the location of the church was perfect for the Northwoods type of wedding. The church is near two lakes and has easy access to the water for after the cereomy. We weren't members of the church and were hurried out after the pictures post ceremony were taken even though we were only the 2nd wedding to take place at the church in two years. Overall our ceremony was great but being rushed out was discouraging along with the lack of thankfulness from some of the members. As a venue it is great and close to Minocqua. The lighting in the church isn't that great but our pictures/video turned out wonderful. I'd give it a 8/10."

Reception:

The Waters of Minocqua

"The Waters is the perfect place to have a reception. Our reception was in the Pub just off of the lobby. It was private and had easy access to the lobby and bathrooms. Our food was amazing. Shirley is an amazing event coordinator there. The price to rent the room was also very very resasonable. It was only 400 to rent the room. It made for an excellent experience and I would highly recommend holding a wedding reception at the Waters. You can't go wrong with the venue, service, or food. Our guests were very happy. The food was excellent better then we expected. Shirley helped us save money in the long run with food/alcohol costs overall. We were also able to get some great pictures with family in the lobby as well as at the resort. We also were happy most of guests stayed there as well. I would recommend this location to anyone :)"
