She followed direction well and also gave great expert advice."

"If you love Etsy then you'll love this in-person shop! It has every nick nack you can imagine. We used their bag, stamps and custom ribbon for our desserts our mom made for our guests to take home. The prices are fair and the Owner Nancy is nice."

She is very attainable via email & phone. Her eye for photography is very creative and unique. She works professionally for a newspaper so at least you know someone def. likes her photos besides us!"

"Waitstaff and Maitre D' Angel were only satisfactory. Waitstaff had no answers without Maitre D's direction. Make sure you have a server assigned and standing at your table the whole time! You really have to sit down with them or write out specific instructions if you are planning or setting decor up a specific way."

Reception:

"Frungillo Caterers - We had a buffet menu (including cocktail) with a Venetian Dessert Hour. The food was good especially the meatloaf. The dessert hour was not worth the money we payed. Overall the food and the sales person Amy V. for Oakside Mansion were excellent. However the customer service during the whole wedding was only okay. The Maitre D' Angel was only satisfactory and the staff had no answers without him around. He could only be found for the reception entrance, cake cutting, etc. but not seen during the whole reception. If you coordinate with the Caters, make sure you still speak to your Maitre D' on the day of as their is a lost of communication between the two. Oakside is a beautiful, charming venue especially in the warmer seasons since you can enjoy their garden, etc. The Victorian house is elegant buts needs to be decorated inside. Their solarium is nice too with a small running water fountain. Also, you have to provide your own vendors for valet and provide your own liquor & beer - > Gallengher's in Bloomfield is awesome and great prices AND customer service!"

"Christina our waitress was very, very accommodating for our rehearsal dinner. We had a family style menu and def. got more then we payed for! Each guest was able to take home leftovers! And trust me my family does eat, so the fact that we had too much food meant we def. got our money's worth. The quality was excellent to and of course their steaks were delicious. Just be very specific of how you would like your tables setup and what area. They do have a private room upstairs but is kind of dark and old-fashioned, that's why we had is in the restaurant instead."
