April, 2009 in St. Augustine"Despite the nightmare of dealing with The Wedding Authority and their required Vendors, my wedding day was gorgeous! We got married in St. Augustine, FL at the Lighnter Museum outside in their beautiful courtyard. I'd love to recommend it to you, but sadly, I cannot. In order to have your ceremony there, you have to deal with Carla Young and her hideous behavior as well as her grossly unqualified staff...including and especially, her daughter, Donna Ralston, who posed as a photographer, but needs to stick to coloring books. Don't take my word for it, email me at [email protected] and I will share the snarky emails and sad excuse for pictures they stuck me with and refuse to make right."

"In order to get married at the Lightner, you have to use The Wedding Authoroty also doing business as Amore Wedding Chapel. It is not worth it to get married there! I had the most horrible experience with them from the beginning as soon as I put down my (non-refundable) deposit. I have tried to work with them to resolve my issues but they have been rude, antagonistic and will not accept responsibility for their part of my issues, mostly dealing with lack of customer service, and the photographer they make you use if you buy their package. My pictures are BAD, and they were taken by Carla's daughter, Donna Ralston, who is NOT a photographer and has since gone out of "business". Neither of these women have provided me with ANY apology or accepted responsibility. It's a shame that such a pretty venue (owned by the City NOT them) is being brought down by this affiliation."
