Dear Stacy,

Well just so you know i moved here from Chicago Illand have resided here in door County for 14 yrs and I never new about this place my husbands Mother took me there. Because my Husband as a child use to have family reunions and picnics and play up there as well as golf, my husband wanted to pick the place to get married so I let him because he grew up here it is a sacred place to him thats the only thing he asked the honors of doing was picking the place of our wedding and it's where he went with his family all from Jackson Port and Egg Harbor Wi....but its hard to find if you don't live here we got lost finding it on the day of the wedding because my husband went up early to play 18 holes of golf and my mother and our party had to call down and have my husband and the bestman come get us. My husband is the one who knows all the directions also its in the state park.

Thank you. We actually live in Green Bay, WI so we aren't that far away. We are having a very small intimate wedding as we are both entering our second marriages. We want something special and romantic, but non traditional. I would greatly appreciate if your husband would provide us with any information on how to find this beautiful location. Also, Did you have to make any type of reservation in order to have it private and be able to set up chairs? Thank you so much for any information. It is greatly appreciated.

Wow this was our second marriage as well. We have been together for 7 years and then got married july of 2008...
Good Luck!!!! We reserved it in 2005 I can't give you anymore I can tell you to do it Especially in the summer,I hope not this summer when are you getting married, I hope atleast 3 years from now cause that's the wait...Well that's what it was then I don't know now Probley longer now.....
