"Our wedding was so beautiful and laid-back. We were able to stay WAY under our $10,000 budget too!

My biggest advice is to not make a decision about your wedding based on tradition or what other people are expecting. Make it YOURS. We were very careful to question our decisions and if the wedding element didn't reflect us as a couple - we didn't do it. Example: We didn't really want a cake (gasp!) so we opted for a chocolate fountain and fed each-other chocolate covered bride and groom strawberries. When people talk about our wedding, the word I hear the most is "FUN!" Make it fun - make it yours."

"While this was a beautiful setting for our casual outdoor wedding, having an event in an outdoor, public park presented some challenges. There was only one restroom, some distance away, and no place for the bride to easily hide. Personally, we loved the way everything turned out, but it took a lot of planning and flexibility."
