We had a pretty good experience at the Patrick AFB club. It is right on the beach. It was very cold, even for florida in January. We held the ceremony on their patio/deck. We were able to squeeze over 150 people on there. We rented white chairs from Chairs For Affairs. It was so windy because they were expecting a storm so we did not use all the decorations planned. (They do have a chapel but it is not on the beach.) It was convenient that the ceremony site was same location as the reception. No one got lost from one event to the other. We did coctails and appetizers while pictures were being done. This also gave people the opportunity to use the Photo Booth. The ballroom was the perfect size for our reception. Food was good, service also good. Jeff the on-duty manager took good care of us. Richard from Academy DJ's did a good job with the ceremony and reception music. We pick some of the music and he did the rest. The dance floor was always packed. Our florist was horrible so can't help with that. Our photographer was good. Didn't get some shots we wanted but the majority of them were very good. Our cake was done by Publix, very good. The groom's cake was even better (made with oreos). Hope this helps. In regard to vacation combo, Orlando is 45 to 60 minutes away. Same with Disney, Sea World, Univeral Studios, etc. Port Canaveral is very close - you can get a cruise from there (honeymoon!)
