ROBIN AND JIM'S WEDDING
October, 2008 in St Louis"Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of or asked for: a storybook setting, gorgeous weather, and a large number of family and friends who traveled in from out of town to share it with us. We provided links to wedding mapper on our wedding web site. It was very usefull for the more Web savvy of our guests. For the others, we printed out our wedding map and left copies at the hotel front desk."

Band:
Dave Black
St Louis, MO, USA"Dave's music is classy, upbeat and unique. He played solo before and during the ceremony, as well as accompanying a vocalist, and did so without having ever rehearsed together before. He also played with a jazz mandolinist for the reception. We received MANY compliments on his music. I wish I had recorded it!"
Cakes/Candies Vendor:
Steven Becker Fine Dining
3701 LindellSt. Louis, MO, United States
"If you are tired of the same old vanilla and chocolate cake, or if you like French pastry, go here. Their champagne and strawberry cake was not only impeccably decorated, but also a wonderful and different flavor which really got alot of compliments from our guests. Patrick Thirion, the Executive Chef, delivered it personally and made sure everything was perfect."
Florist:
Greg Swenson
St Louis, MO, USA"Greg's flowers absolutely MADE the wedding. I loved them so much, I took home every last little bit of it and decorated my office and home with it for another week afterward. Greg's work is a little avant garde and very creative. Thanks to him, the flowers pulled together my somewhat unusual palette of colors and made it look like I had brilliant taste!"

Parking for the Wedding
St. Albans RdSt. Albans, Missouri
"You have to use a shuttle to ferry the guests to the Studio Inn because the parking at the Inn itself is very limited. We discovered some hidden costs for the shuttle which made it triple what the Inn had led us to believe it would cost."
Ceremony:
Studio Inn at St. Alban's

"Incomparably beautiful and classy, our guests were wowed by the outdoor beauty of this venue. There were a few restrictions I thought were needless, although the venue did their best to work with our unique needs. My one negative comment is they REALLY cheaped out on the breakfast provided to the bride & groom after staying the night in the honeymoon suite. The Gardens at Malmaison were almost as nice and $1,000 less."
Hotel:
Red Roof Inns -- Westport
11837 Lackland RdSaint Louis, MO, United States
"It's a Red Roof, so the rooms were clean and of decent quality. The location, in the WEstport area, made it difficult for guests to do any sight seeing in the City due to the construction on I-64/40, and most of the restaurants near there are chain restaurants. But, we chose it because there are alot of restaurants within walking distance of it."
Entertainment:
Central West End
N. Euclid AveMaryland Ave.
"Lively area filled with unique boutiques, shops and restaurants. If you're looking for a unique gift or souvenir, or some of St. Louis's best food, this neighborhood is a good choice."
Entertainment:
The Delmar "Loop"
Kingsland & DelamrSkinker & Delmar
"Another bustling area of fun little shops, boutiques and restaurants, featuring some of the best sidewalk and patio dining in St. Louis."
