CHAMPAIGN WEDDING IN JUNE

"Our wedding was amazing! We got married in Champaign, IL and were surrounded by all our family and closest friends. The ceremony and reception were both on the University of Illinois campus, so there was a short commute between venues. The vendors helped to make our day great by causing no extra headaches. They all did the job they said they were going to do! It was super hot outside (96 degrees) getting married at the end of June, but luckily both the ceremony and reception site were air conditioned! We had a wonderful wedding day :)!"

"We chose a DIY option for the invitations. We bought them at Michael's craft store and was able to use a 40% coupon to purchase them. We printed them ourselves, but the invitations came with a template to use that made creating the printing margins pretty fool proof. We loved the invitations and there really wasn't too much extra work involved."

"We booked the limousine service several months in advance. We planned to use the service for the wedding party and then also as a shuttle service after the wedding for guests. We spoke with the owner when making the original reservations. He confirmed our reservation and told us to call back 3 weeks before the wedding to finalize all of the details. When we did, they said they had no record of our reservation and were actually booked for a different wedding that day. While trying to work out the confusion, the owner was very rude, very unprofessional and told us he did not care if we chose to use his business or not. Before the conversation was over, he ended up hanging up the phone on us. We were very disappointed with our experience with IlliniTaxi and decided we did not want to use any of the company's services. We ended up not having a limo for the wedding day, which we thought was a better option than giving this company our business."

"This was not our home church, but they made us feel very welcomed here. The church was very beautiful. They also allowed us to bring in our own officiant, which was very important to us. They have an on site wedding coordinator who helped keep everything organized the day of and was there to coordinate all of the vendors (musicians, florists, etc) that needed to get set up."

"The Colonnades Club was a great place for our reception. It was able to accommodate all of our guests. It was also really nice that the venue took care of everything from food, to centerpieces, to linens. I liked having just one contact person to work with to make sure all of my ideas came together."
