Pink_ask_a_question

Ceremony: Lightner Museum courtyard

Cakes/Candies Vendor:

Sweet weddings

St. Augustine, FL, USA

"We loved Arlene's cake that she made for our wedding! She makes the best tasting cakes in town with delicious fillings and the prices are not too much more than Publix! Would highly recommend sweet weddings in St Augustine"

Caterer:

A1A Ale Works - Caterer - 1 King St, St Augustine, FL, United States

A1A Aleworks

1 King St
St Augustine, FL, United States

"We were very disappointed with the food at our wedding. We had to use them in order to use the salamendez room for our reception. The prime rib which was $50 a plate was very overcooked. We went to several tastings and at the tastings the prime rib was juicy and moist which was definately not what our guests had at our wedding. The snapper was good at the wedding but we went to several tastings and could not find one chicken dish that tasted good. Two thumbs down for them!"

Coordinator:

The Wedding Authority

75 King St # 114
St. Augustine, FL, USA

"Carla and Barbara at the Wedding Authority were wonderful at helping to make our wedding day all that we had hoped for! They suggested vendors in the area and coordinated our wedding ceremony and reception wonderfully. Also Carla's husband Bill married us and it was a beautiful ceremony. I felt like I was in good hands on the day and was able to relax and enjoy it. The only complaint is that Carla should not have recommended our DJ because he was not good!"

DJ:

Y entertainment- DJ Edwin

St. Augustine, FL, USA

"We were not happy with our DJ at all. He messed up our champagne toast by announcing it and having the best man give his toast BEFORE the champagne was even poured! He was too quiet and did not announce important parts of the reception very well."

Ceremony:

Lightner Museum - Ceremony - 75 King St, St. Augustine, FL, 32084

Lightner Museum courtyard

75 King St
St Augustine, FL 32084

"I dont think that we could have possibly got married at any place more beautiful and romantic than The Lightner Museum courtyard in St Augustine! It was a gorgeous spring day, the weather was perfect, and all of the flowers in the courtyard were blooming! The arcitecture of the building makes it look like a castle and the coy pond is so pretty!"

Hotel:

Holiday Inn & Suites

1302 N Ponce De Leon Blvd
St Augustine, FL 32084

"We used the Holiday Inn in historic St Augustine to book a block of rooms for our wedding guests from out of town so that they could get a discounted rate. Their customer service was horrible! My guests called me several times having problems making reservations and multiple times my guests were told that the block did not exist! Maggie is the manager of this department and is not reachable most of the time. I would not recommend having a wedding block of rooms here at all!"

Restaurant:

Pizzalleys- chianti room

60 Charlotte St
St Augustine, FL 32084

"We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was a very casual and fun environment for our friends and family to get together at before our wedding. The pizza here is delicious and it was very cost effective because they did not charge us to use the room and allowed us to order whatever we wanted instead of charging $30 per person like alot of other places do. Its in a great location right on St George Street so for all of my friends who had never been to St Augustine it was pretty neat for them."
