Hi - my daughter and her fiance would like to get married on the beach in Coronado and we are from Arizona too. Did you plan your own beach wedding or have the Del do it for you? Your pictures are beautiful and look like what they would like to have. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Dee. I was fortunate to find a great package online, and we absolutely loved our reverend (and his wife). The communication was exactly what I needed being from another state. I would recommend that they visit before hand to see the beach, and see the area, visit hotels, vendors, etc. It makes the wedding day much more relaxing. But Ren and Grant are really great and make it easy! The package is inexpensive and quality of the flowers and cake were outstanding!!!

Thank you for your quick response. I will forward your response and link to my daughter and will have her contact you if she has any questions. One question I have - was your wedding less than 50 people and did you need a permit for the beach?

It was about 40 people and on this beach, you do not need a permit with the package thru them.

Another question - was looking at the website and they shows chairs and arches - did you have them set those up for you? They also show wedding cakes but doesn't look like they do receptions on the beach.

Chairs and the arch are extra, but they do offer it. Depending on how long the ceremony is, you don't need the chairs. We had our guests stand in a half circle around us. depends on how formal you want it. I will say that the 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony...standing around with our guests, waiting for the reverend was definitely my only stress time. If you are looking for that "bride moment" where she walks down the beach, you probably do want chairs.

And only through the Del Cornonado, do they have receptions on that beach. We opted for a near by restaraunt, Il Fornaio (Italian). They have 2 private rooms-it was perfect.
