"The French Quarter is the oldest and most famous neighborhood in the city. It's a must see during your stay in New Orleans! It IS New Orleans!!"
Attractions:
Oak Alley Plantation
"Anonymousd on the balcony of this Greek-style home to experience the breath-taking view of the levy-lined Mississippi river hundreds of yards from the front door canopied by 28 massive oak trees more than 300 years old. The Plantation encompasses 25 acres of land owned by the non-profit Oak Alley Plantation Foundation. 75 of the surrounding acres are residential homes, 600 acres are leased for sugar cane cultivation and 450 acres are still virgin woodlands. Jacques Telesphore Roman, a wealthy Creole sugar planter, built the present-day mansion in 1839."
