"We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for our wedding or a more perfect location to hold it than Tarpon Springs, Florida. Not only was the weather a perfect 80 degrees in October and not a cloud in the sky, the town was conviently located to the airport as well as many local attractions & restaurants for our guests to enjoy during their stay. Prices were extremely reasonable and multiple options were available. We saved a lot of money by holding our wedding and reception at a local park and the setting was beautiful right on the lake. There was a playground for the children invited to play on and keep occupied and was right next to our shelter so parents could look on and still enjoy themselves as well."

"We held our ceremony at Shelter 9 at Anderson Park in Tarpon Springs. It was perfect! Not only did we only spend about $100 to rent BOTH shelters for the wedding and reception, we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful spot. We got married looking out on the lake and got some great pictures of us here. Plus we had a real nice light breeze coming in off the water so it wasn't too hot either."

"Reception was held at a shelter at Anderson Park on top of a hill overlooking Lake Tarpon. The weather was perfect and I would recommend using this or any local parks to hold your wedding as we only paid $100 for both shelters for our ceremony and reception and had use of the 2 shelters from dawn til dark."

"We had two different rooms, one for the night before the wedding and one for after. This hotel really went above and beyond for us and I would recommend them for any occasion. They opened up one whole side of their hotel that they normally didn't use so we could have our privacy for all the people we had come over for a joint bachelor/bachelorette party and told us should it rain on our wedding day, they would let us move our reception to their restaurant onsite for NO CHARGE! The rooms were immaculate and the staff was very accommidating and we have since stayed there on multiple occasions when visiting family in the area."

"We ended up with our friends cooking for us as our wedding gift from them. However, we had great night here before the wedding and really enjoyed the atmosphere this restaurant provides. It had a live band playing music and a full liquor bar (always nice!) and the waitstaff was amazing. We have always enjoyed the the Turtle and will continue to do so."
