Guide to Krisjon and Charlie's Wedding Weekend
Sunday, November 4 - We meet at the Broadway Pier for the San Diego-Coronado Ferry (Time 12:30pm). 1050 North Harbor Drive San Diego, CA USA We'll leave from here for the bike ride in Coronado. What to Bring - Comfortable shirt and shorts or pants. Jacket, windbreaker or sweatshirt as required. Closed-toed shoes (sandals and flip-flops not recommended), socks, sunscreen. What to Expect - The riding is mostly flat on city streets and bike paths. We meet at the Broadway Pier in downtown San Diego at 12:30pm, and head to Coronado Bay via ferry. On the island we get fitted for cruiser/hybrid bikes and head off. Route maps will be available. Return ferries back from Coronado to the Broadway pier leave every hour on the half hour (1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, etc.) Krisjon and Charlie are planning on a relaxed, leisurely ride for at most 3 hours, so we expect to make either the 3:30 or 4:30 ferry to return. Guests are of course more than welcome to join us in Coronado and return on an earlier ferry. Cost- The ferry costs $6 round trip without a bicycle, and $7 with a bicycle. Krisjon and Charlie will be bringing their bicycle because they are unlikely to find a tandem to fit them on the island, but we expect the majority of our guests will simply rent bikes given the nature of the ride. The bike rental will cost approximately $15.
