Joe and Rebekah's Wedding
"The epicenter of Seattle culture and artistic expression, the Market is a melting pot of all things Seattle. The Market spans 3-4 floors, 2 blocks wide and 3 blocks long. Here you will find all manner of taste testing, local artesians, niche shops, local produce and souveniers, local companies, interesting restaurants with great views, and pretty much anything you can think of. I recommend seeing the gum wall, the Rachel pig (large golden piggy bank), watching the fishmongers throw the fish, getting a sample of the famous smoked salmon, Chuckar Cherries, Micks pepper jelly, the chocolate noodles, and pretty much anything anyone else is sampling. Go down into the shops below for awesome old turn of the century pictures or propaganda art, some eclectic shopping, local artist shops, a magic shop, and a comic shop- among others. Don't forget to mosey on down toward the Pike Place brewery for TeaVana- an awesome experience in tea sampling. Ask about the little boy trick..."

"Pike Place Market is probably the most popular tourist attraction in Seattle, and with good reason. It's FUN! You can probably find someone selling anything you could ever think of that you don't need but really want, for whatever reason sounds good at the time. Sundays you can see the fisherman tossing fish across the walkways and antagonizing tourists, and there are always killer views of the waterfront and Puget Sound from market windows. Side note: The flower selection here is TO DIE FOR. And at $5 a dozen, who could resist?!"
Shannon and Guy's Wedding

Seattle Wa Wedding In July
"An 80-year old neon clock serves as a beacon to Seattle's 9-acre populist market. The market, like the city itself, has a history rich in the commerce of farm and fish. Now a historical as well as commercial district, this Seattle landmark attraction houses restaurants, museums, crafts, shopping and boutiques. But perhaps most entertaining of all are the fishmongers and catchers themselves, who hurl 30-lb salmon around like tennis balls."
Seattle Wedding In July
"Needs no introduction. Great shopping, restaurants and views!"

"You can't leave Seattle without stopping by the Pike Place Market! Miss the tourist crowd and go early! The stalls close up in the afternoon, but there is also a big nightlife down "Post Alley". TO DO: 1. Buy a bag of fresh made mini donuts 2. Grab a "London Fog" at Local Color, a cafe/art gallery not to be missed. 3. Take a picture on the pig (won't miss it) 4. Brunch at the Athenian 5. Walk through the food and flowers stalls (feel free to haggle) 6. Hit up the stores under the market! Especially the magic shop. 7. Coffee at the first Starbuck's"
Seattle Wedding In July
"A must-visit for anyone in Seattle for the first time."
Seattle Wedding In July
"Go watch them throw fish at the market! Or get a bouquet, or a belt buckle or some fresh fruits and vegetables, or just get lost i the vast and quirky network of underground stores. The history of Pike Place Market is as rich and colorful as Seattle itself. Its nine acres and 100 years of operation encompass thousands of unique and interesting stories — stories of immigration, internment, gentrification and urban renewal — that explain why Pike Place Market is called "The Soul of Seattle.""
Thadd and Karen's Wedding
"An open air market with fish throwing, flowers, produce, and lots of trinkets, the Pike Place Market is not to be missed."
Stewart and Jody's Wedding
"Situated just above the waterfront, the market is popular with natives tourists alike. It is a vital part of Seattle's economy, receiving more than nine million visits each year. It features about 600 businesses including farmers and merchants that offer fresh vegetables, seafood, food bars, cafes, restaurants, crafts, art work, and gifts from booths, stalls and shops, and the original Starbucks. The market was born in 1907, from citizen outrage at the high cost of produce, beginning with a handful of farmers with their wagons on Pike Place. It is the oldest continually operating farmers’ market in the USA."
Gwynyth and Santiago's Wedding

It is a place of business for many small farmers, craftspeople and merchants and it is also one of Seattle's most popular tourist destinations. It occupies over 9 acres and is bounded by First Avenue to the east, Western Avenue to the west, Virginia Street to the north, and, to the south."
