"We opted for a selection of cupcakes and a display cake to cut into in lieu of a traditional wedding cake. My finace and I ended up going to 4 cupcake tastings with different bakers (not by design, believe me), and Stephanie was the last and by far the best tasting we had. Not only do her cupcakes taste the best (using buttercream instead of ordinary cake frosting makes a big difference), but she was affordable and very flexible in terms of design; you'd be surprised how hard it was to find a baker who would agree to use colored frosting, made carrot cake cupcakes, and would actually return a phone call. Make sure to check out the photo gallery on the site of her more sculptural pieces; she's very talented, and our display cake even made it into the gallery—the bear and elephant carousel figurine cake-toppers were ours."
