Washington Dc Wedding In May
Georgetown is an enclave of historic buildings, many that date back to the early 18th century. Its steep, leafy, brick lined residential streets are home to many prominent political figures, as well as the occasional student of Georgetown University which lies on a hill overlooking the Potomac River. The junction of M Street and Wisconsin Avenue is the heart of Georgetown's commercial life, with many shops and restaurants. You can also walk down towards the water, and walk along the historic C & O (Chesapeake & Ohio) canal towpath as well as the banks of the Potomac River.
