Founded in 1889, Zoo Atlanta is one of the 10 oldest zoos in continuous operation in the United States. Daily Hours: Grounds are open 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Ticket booths close at 4:30 p.m.

See the wonders of the animal kingdom, including the Giant Pandas of Chengdu, Lun Lun and Yang Yang in the Asian Forest exhibit. Other natural habitats include Masai Mara, Mzima Springs, and Ketambe where you can see everything from orangutans to elephants!

Zoo Atlanta has a new family member - a new baby panda named Mei Lan, who was burn to Lun Lun on Sept. 6, 2006. Zoo Atlanta is always great family fun!

Driving: Off of Interstate 20, Take Exit 59A (Boulevard) and proceed south 0.5 mile. Park in the lots on Boulevard. Off Interstate 75/85, take Exit 246 (Fulton Street) and drive east on Fulton Street. Turn right at Capitol Avenue. Follow Capitol to first light, turn left on Georgia Avenue. Georgia Avenue ends at the Cherokee Avenue lot.
