"Everyone had a wonderful time at our wedding at Bonnet Island Estate. Ginny and Meghan from BIE were a huge help to us throughout the planning process. While I can't speak about the quality of the in-house caterer's (Merri-Makers) food as we brought in a kosher caterer, I can tell you that they made our lives as difficult as possible in doing so. We were originally told that they were equipped to host a kosher wedding and that they would provide the staffing, alcohol, etc. (essentially everything but the food) yet they were entirely unresponsive when we tried to get things in order. After several attempts to reach them they finally got back to us only to let us know that they, in fact, would not be providing any of these services. They also nickle and dimed us for any and all things they could think of. Hopefully it will be easier to deal with Merri-Makers if you are using their services - our experience was pretty painful. It is worth noting that the property of BIE is managed separately from the catering side of the house and again, I can't say enough about how helpful the property managers were to us."
