Lindsay and Dale's Wedding Celebration
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday open 10-4, Saturday 10-5, Sunday 12-5 Two exhibitions will be presented over the wedding weekend in November: Jane Hammond and Mexico and Modern Printmaking 1920-1950.
Rachel and Todd's Wedding
Hours: Tues-Sat 10am-5pm; Sun noon-5pm. Docent tours Sun at 2pm Oct-May Prices: Free admission ($5 suggested donation; fee for special exhibits)
Julia and D Scott's Wedding
Built by artist and educator Marion Koogler McNay in the 1920s, the Spanish Colonial Revival-style home opened as the first museum of modern art in Texas in 1954. Today visitors are captivated by magnificent works of art by modern masters including Paul Gauguin, Vincent Van Gogh, Edward Hopper, Georgia O'Keeffe, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. A vital partner in arts education, the McNay annually serves over 45,000 adults, teachers, students and families with a variety of art education programs and educational resources, including a fine arts reference library and interpretive information about art in the museum's collection and exhibitions. Admission and parking are free. Five dollars per adult is the requested donation for nonmembers to view the permanent and special exhibitions. Hours: 10am to 4pm Tuesday - Friday;10am to 9pm Thursday; 10am to 5pm Saturday and noon to 5pm Sunday.
