If you've never been to the state capitol building then this is a must see. The architecture is really beautiful, just be careful staring up into the dome because it can be dizzying.

Really cool free tour. If you go, stand in the star in the middle of the Rotunda. Hear your echo but nobody else can. This is really a history of America in addition to Texas.
