Chattanooga Wedding In October
"Very rude! I had planned on having my ceremony, bridal luncheon, and maybe even rehearsal dinner there. I thought it would be great to have all my guests stay down there so they could easily walk to the restaurants and the Hunter Art Museum. It would have worked out perfectly for me and my bridal party to stay there as well and have all of our hair and makeup done...but absolutely not! They were very rude! I tried to go down there to visit and check it out and they were late and not apologetic. The couple that waited with us to check in to their hotel room on their honeymoon was there for at least 30 minutes before we even arrived. Bluff View has a phone to use to call the hotel when you do arrive, but no one answered. Do not believe them when they say they always have someone there. Also, it took several rounds of phone tag before anyone would even return my call to inquire about the place. The woman that took me around gave me the wrong information. I would NEVER recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone."

"Great place to take a walk and enjoy the surroundings. Overlooking the river, you can take a stroll, get a coffee, and see cool sculptures and other artsy stuff."

"Bluff View Art District is a historic neighborhood filled with restaurants, a coffee house, art gallery, historic Bed & Breakfast, and plenty of gardens, plazas and courtyards where you can relax and rejuvenate. The neighborhood, which stretches over 1.5 city blocks, sets high atop stone cliffs that plunge into the river below. From this bluff-top location, you will have breathtaking views of the Tennessee River, as well as downtown Chattanooga and the Walnut Street Bridge, a position which earned early residents of the area the nickname "cliff dwellers." Dedication to the visual, landscape and culinary arts is evident throughout Bluff View Art District. We proudly bake artisan breads, roast coffees, make pastas, grow herbs and produce, and prepare pastries, desserts and chocolates in kitchens throughout the District. While you are here, be sure to walk around and peek into the many windows to see our artists hard at work creating these fresh, hand-made products for our special guests."

"If you are going to pick any area to visit in Chattanooga, this would be our recommendation! This is an area with a lot of character. Tony's is one of our favorite places to eat in Chattanooga. It is in the center of the art district, serving fresh italian food (and wonderful bread). Also in the art district is a great coffee shop and bistro called Rembrandt's. If you have anytime on Saturday, and you love the arts, check out the Hunter Museum of Art."
