"Even though the rooms were a bit small our guests enjoyed their stay here. The location is great in downtown, the farmers market across the street and walking distance of all the restaurants and shops was perfect. Our guests could be found late night in the hotel bar and we hosted a brunch in the restaurant Sunday morning which was perfect."

"Great hotel with that Southern charm. The rooms reflect the age of the building (small baths) but are well-decorated with lovely comfortable beds. The service is outstanding and the food at the little restaurant was quite good."

"The help was awesome as was the food! They work with a lot of vendors in the area and I did not have to stress about set up or clean up!"

"It was very convenient on location and since we had many out of town guests it was nice that they were staying in the same place as the reception. The food was great at the Francis Marion, but watch out because they charge you for everything!! I was not happy with our wedding coordinator, she was very cold and that's not a good feeling when you are spending a pretty penny. If I had to do it again, I woulcn't have our reception there."

"Perfect room, perfect food! 3 Ballrooms to choose from. We used the Carolina room, holds up to 400 people but at 225 it did not feel too big.Actually very comfortable with that many people."
