"Although Charleston Place is one of the most beautiful and grandiose places to stay in Charleston, I gave it three stars because of the snafu's that we kept having. We used valet for one night and were charged for 4 nights, we were told that we would receive a complimentary bottle of champagne and they charged us $50, and lastly, my mom gave them her credit card so she could pay for it as a gift and they gave my husband and I the bill before we left. It was one thing after another with them. My best advice is to watch out for extra charges because they are most definitely going to try and sneak them in."
