Philadelphia Wedding In October
Philadelphia   |   October, 2013   |   Attractions

"The National Constitution Center is an interactive museum looking at the history of the US Constitution. Signer’s Hall is a favorite, as you can see life-size statues of those who signed the Constitution (you can even sit on Ben Franklin’s lap if you want). However, a trip here is best when paired with a visiting exhibit. Past special exhibits that we’ve enjoyed have included topics such as Princess Diana, Napoleon, George Washington and the history of spies."

"The National Constitution Center in historic Philadelphia is America's most interactive history museum. Located just two blocks from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, it is the only museum devoted to the U.S. Constitution and the story of we, the people. Add to your visit to the Center with Daily Museum Programs and more! First came the revolution. Then came a revolutionary document. See what's revolutionary on the other side of the Independence Mall."

"Opened July 4, 2003, on Philadelphia's redesigned Independence Mall, the National Constitution Center is the first museum in the world devoted to the United States Constitution. While same-day tickets are usually available, it's a good idea to buy tickets in advance, and arrive 20 minutes early for the timed theater shows that welcome visitors twice each hour. Just a block away, (at a new glass pavilion on 5th and Market) sits the famous Liberty Bell. The famous bell "proclaimed liberty throughout the land" as the Declaration of Independence was read aloud to the citizens."
