"What an awesome place to hold a wedding! Not only was it free because we are residents of PA, but the Rotunda was so ornate that I didn't need to go to the extra expense of buying flowers for the ceremony. Everything went off without a hitch. We were a little worried at the rehearsal beacuse the sound had too much echoing. However, the day of, a man appeared and placed a microphone for us to use and this eliminated the problem. I was able to rent chairs and have them set up on Friday evening, so I didn't have to worry about that Saturday morning. Carol Haigh was very helpful and the Capitol Police were great to work with."
