We had our picnic at Wallace Park on the lawn of Chapman School. We had to reserve through Portland Parks and Recreation and then we took over from there bringing in tables, chairs, grills and food. It's what you want to make of it, and we had a great time. Playground and basketball court and even a softball diamond. Talk about inexpensive and easy, this was it.
