"The OCC was amazing. Looked good, the wait staff were fabulous, and everyone loved the food. The only drawback was that the woman I signed the initial contract with (Zorka) lied about a number of things... or promised things that were later taken back (very close to the date)... so a number of additional costs and headaches popped up in the last couple of weeks... everyone else there did their best to help us out though."

"The facility was perfect. The staff was very accommodating in ensuring the ballroom was set up according to our requirements. The location, easy access from the highway, and having hotels next door make it a great location for an event. The service was quite wonderful. Our banquet manager (I cannot recall his name) was terrific – he kept us informed on how we were doing on timing, made sure Joe and I had everything we needed, and was fantastic in dealing with my food allergy and my MOH’s allergy. His service was exceptional. I heard great things about the bartenders – the guests had a blast with them. The servers were almost “invisible” I was not aware of a lot of hustle and bustle with trays. According to one guest, they were very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that they had a good time. Food met expectations – the portions were generous and very tasty. We have had only positive comments from our guests. Our sales coordinator came by before our ceremony and even helped make sure my train was straight. She really set the atmosphere for the quality of service and her “can do” attitude was very much appreciated. The day went very smoothly and was even better than we had imagined. Our goal (other than getting married) was for it to be a good party for our friends and family. We certainly achieved that. I would recommend the OCC, absolutely! "Zorka, Just a short note to compliment the staff at the Oakville Conference Centre that worked the day/night of the Pickell/Legein wedding. They thought of every detail possible (helping with the slide show, providing the computer, offering drinks to the family in the receiving line, asking if we needed anything during the event, cleaning up broken glass on the dance floor, etc.). The meal was delicious and everything was delivered as per the timelines. They definitely made the entire evening go off without a hitch. I would also like to thank you for all your help during the past 10 months... it was a pleasure working with you and if we know of any future weddings coming up, we will definitely pass on the name of the Oakville Conference Centre (both my daughters are married now – lol). Words cannot express how happy we were with all the little touches the OCC threw in and how helpful everybody was. You all made our dreams come true. "The facility was great, very clean, and well organized, very convenient for all of our guests. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our event went smoothly and exceeded our expectations for service, very courteous and helpful. We were thrilled with the quality of food. THe portions size were very generous and everything was delicious, no complaints from any of our guests, all were very happy with the meal. You exceeded our expectations. I can't think of one negative comment, only praise to the OCC and all the staff for making our reception a wonderful memory for years to come. I would most definitely recommend the OCC to others."

"Not sure how everyone else had such a great experience with them. But they were terrible and rude to not only my entire family but my guests as well. They made no apologies for their behaviour and made my wedding day stressful. We were so polite to them and tried to work with them, but for some reason they felt that this gave the mgrounds to walk all over us. Do not get married here, unless you want to take a chance on things falling apart on the day of the wedding."
