We cannot say enough about Ventosa, R.J. and all of the staff who helped make our evening the stand-out event it was. Throughout the early planning, R.J. worked with me, answered any question I had (there were lots!) and really helped to formulate the event. The food was outstanding - so many of our guests said that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. And it was! We only regret not taking our entrees home! Also, we were fortunate enough to be able to have a fireworks display at our reception. We were the first couple to propose this idea to R.J. and Ventosa Vineyard, but they graciously allowed us (and Young's Explosives) to set up on the property and surprise our guests with a spectacular display. We are truly grateful to have had the opportunity to celebrate our wedding at Ventosa.

I was overwhelmed at planning long distance in the last month or so, but Ventosa (and RJ in particular) were phenomenal. He was prompt to answer all my questions and concerns. this place is amazing for a reception-large or small.. i had specific ideas of how i wanted it to look and they far exceeded what i even pictured. the vineyard, the view of the lake and especially the porch made our reception complete. the comfy seating outside (rocking chairs, lounch chairs and benches) were the perfect touch for those who wanted to do wine tasting and just enjoy the perfect weather. rj was wonderful all night, making sure we had access to the barrel room for pics, getting a cab for my grandparents who were tired and were waiting for the late shuttle, and gettting the wine bar miscommunication(My fault) promptly fixed. i highly recommend this location-perfect spot!!!
