"Jacques has a reputation for being the best, and they did not disappoint. Not only was the cake delicious, the staff was extremely accommodating and had a number of flavor and size options to meet our budget. We got to taste everything, and boy were there options -- everything from espresso cake to Bailey's buttercream frosting. We had a four-tier cake with different flavors for each layer. Two layers were traditional chocolate and white cake, each with raspberry preserves. But our favorite, which we used for one of the layers and the top layer (the one we took home -- Jacques includes it in the overall price) was a spice cake with apple preserves, with cinnamon and caramel buttercream. It was perfect for our fall wedding and absolutely delicious. FYI: Jacques isn't on the Seacoast, but they deliver all over northern New England. I think our delivery charge was about $100, but they may differ depending on distance, day of the week or season."
