Assumption is a gorgeous church and our priest, Father O’Gara, was wonderful to work with. I am actually Lutheran and this is one church that allowed us to have both a pastor and a priest preside over the ceremony. My pastor, Eric Youngdahl from Mt. Olivet, and Father O’Gara worked wonderfully together. Mary, the wedding coordinator at Assumption, was also extremely helpful and easy to get a hold of. She was prompt with answers and returning my phone calls. The reason I am not giving the church an “A” is because the day of coordinators who also ran our rehearsal were not the most helpful or friendly. I actually had one of the coordinators ask me for a check as a donation to the church 5 minutes before I walked down the aisle. Other than that, the music coordinator was great to work with and was very helpful to my cousins who sang during the ceremony.
