Pete and his crew will be golfing at this course the morning of the wedding. Legends Club is an 18-hole championship course nestled in a wooded, yet marshy area on the border of Lakeville and Prior Lake. It is conveniently located just two minutes from Hwy 35. The 7,046-yard Legends Club Course is breathtaking with a lot of water, a lot of wetlands and a lot of topography changes – this is a great piece of land. Legends Club is one of the very few daily-fee golf courses in the country where you truly have a private club feel with private club amenities and private club quality. Gill/Miller Golf Architects, the designers of Legends, transformed the 360-acre plot of Mother Nature’s best into an eye pleasing work of golf course art. The golf course blends thick woods with a plethora of ponds (the largest being a 30-acre lake which "centers" the acreage) and strategic "links" mounding to offer diverse challenges to all level golfers. Holes stretch as far as 621 yards (par 5 - #16) yet each hole has five sets of tees to make the playability manageable for all. Large greens, generous landing areas and exacting approach shots is a good description of the overall course.

The Legends Golf Club was a great place to have our wedding reception. Samantha Smeester was our wedding coordinator and she was fun and easy to work work. She gave us some great ideas, but also let us use our imagination and design the reception of our dreams. All the staff at the Legends was very professional. The golf course setting allowed us to take many beautiful pictures. I thought that the planning for the reception was going to be very difficult, but Samantha and the Legends made it a simple process. Plus the food that they served was delicious!
