"I feel privileged to have worked with common roots catering! They were so helpful during the whole planning process, meeting with me several times and answering all my questions. I liked their emphasis on fresh, local, sustainable food, which went with the whole theme of our wedding. We decided on an hors d'oeuvres reception, and our family and friends really enjoyed the variety and quality of the food. It was awesome to meet some great people at common roots catering, and they went above and beyond to make our wedding excellent. Thank you Common Roots!"

Erin and Chris were amazing to work with - their attention to detail and 'down to earth' style made this wedding a breeze to plan. They wanted to stay away from the traditional 'sit-down' route so that their guests would have a chance to move freely throughout the space, mingling and enjoying each others company, at a local photography studio called Besade, nestled in the Warehouse District of Minneapolis. In addition to being easy to work with and selecting a wonderful venue, they picked a great menu of heavy buffet and tray-passed hors d'oeuvres that included: roasted seasonal vegetables with garlic crema & ancho-lemon aioli, house-baked breads & spreads, pear & brie crostinis, mini spanikopita, and many more. It was such a pleasure to work with this couple and we wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors!
