In 1976, Valleyfair premiered as a turn-of-the-century amusement park in Shakopee, Minnesota with 20 rides and attractions on 26 acres. What a difference 31 years makes. Now, the park boasts more than 75 rides and attractions on 90 acres and is the largest amusement park in the upper Midwest. Admission allows you to enjoy the rides, shows and Whitewater Country Waterpark all day long. Food, merchandise, games, some attractions and Challenge Park are extra charges. One day Regular ticket admission (48" & taller) is $35.95 and Kids ticket admission (3 years & older and less than 48" tall) is $11.95. Parking is $9.00. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
