Pete and Erica have been known to show up at Canterbury during the summer to hang out with Ron and Dianne, the bride's parents, who enjoy betting on the horses. Pete particularly enjoys the card club. When you see the horses turn for the stretch run and hear the roar of the crowd, you'll understand exactly why over 350,000 people pour through the gates each year to experience the thrill of horse racing. From the novice fan to the experienced horse player, there's something for everyone to enjoy at Canterbury Park. Whether you want indoor seating and tableside service, or prefer to spend your day outdoors basking in the Minnesota summer, Canterbury will do everything it can to ensure your day at the track is enjoyable ... and hopefully profitable. Before racing begins each day, stop by the Paddock to get tips from the local handicapping experts in Today At The Races. When the racing action is over, check out the Canterbury Card Club where they deal Blackjack, Texas Hold 'Em and more. Adult Admission is $5.00 Seniors Admission (Age 60 and above) $3.00 Kids 17 and under are free Post Times for the 2007 Season Thursdays & Fridays: 7:00 PM Saturdays and Sundays: 1:30 PM
Dana and Sergio's Wedding
We took a few of our interested guests to Canterbury for a night of racing, poker and just a good time to hang out. If you've never experienced live horseracing, you should! They have live racing thurdays through sundays from Memorial Day to Labor Day. They have a card room and simulcast racing all year. If you go on a Thursday, it is Buck Night, with $1 admission, $1 hotdogs, $1 pepsi's and $1 nachos and $3 beer specials. You can't go wrong with that! They do have areas that you can reserve for groups, but if you have less than 20 people, its probably not necessary.
