"Michillinda Lodge did a great job with our wedding. The wedding coordinator (Ashley) was very professional and extremely helpful with the planning/execution of our wedding. We planned this wedding from out of town so it was a relieve to have someone like Ashley helping us. One of our concerns, that made us score responsiveness not at a 5 was the office wasn’t open everyday. If we sent an email, it might take a few days for them to respond. The food staff/ bartending staff was top notch!! The head chef (Jason) did a wonderful job preparing the food. He set-up a special beef dish for our buffet that was excellent. The servers were very professional and interacted with the guests, which made it fun. The bartenders poured stiff drinks which I was a fan of. If you are having guest stay at Michillinda, I would recommend you take a walk-thru of the rooms before you put a deposit down. Part of Michillinda’s charm is that it is “rustic” but some of the rooms are not acceptable to have guests stay in. Overall I would give Michillinda Lodge my stamp of approval. The staff couldn’t have done a better job making our day special. If you are looking for a place to have a beautiful beach wedding, Michillinda is the place."
