"The DeVos Art Museum opened in 2005 in a new building designed by HGA Architects, creating two state of the art gallery spaces to host temporary exhibitions and selections from the permanent collection. The DeVos Art Museum presents ten to twelve exhibitions a year with an emphasis on modern and contemporary art and the permanent collection. The museum serves Northern Michigan University and the upper Midwest region with exhibitions, special programming and educational outreach."
