"Would rate 3 1/2 stars. Items "included" in packages may actually cost extra, deposits only lock in your date and not always the price you're quoted. Food was great and staff is friendly, but don't expect to get many special requests honored. Beautiful venue for a reception. Room rates are pricey and some overnight guests had problems with the rooms (no hot water, tv remote that didn't work). While the honeymoon suite was beautiful, we experienced a big ant problem and leaving the AC on too long created an awful spoiled egg smell in the room."

"Our wedding at The Hotel Northampton was beautiful. It's an historic hotel in the middle of a great college town. We had an intimate ceremony in the small ballroom, the beautiful lobby served as the location for social hour,and the very elegant Grand Ballroom held our reception. The hotel is very well known for their excellent food! We had stations and everything was great. The wedding packages include a honeymoon suite so we didn't have to leave the hotel (also get a block of discounted rooms for guests). Our photographer was Derek of Derek Fowles Photography in Northampton; beautiful photo-journalistic style. Our dj was Tommy Plant from Hard-At-Play - - professional, fun, friendly, knows how to read the crowd and keep the party going. Flowers from Kerry's Florist in South Hadley were beautiful! Would recommend all of our vendors to anyone."
