New Orleans La Wedding In October
"Rehearsal Dinner spot"
SarahScott and Michael's Wedding
"One of the best restaurants in town, especially when you want some real New Orleans food. Be prepared to wait, but go hungry!"
Lora and Chris's Wedding
"Go before 6 or after 8pm. Nothing is bad here. Ask if you are allergic to something...they use alot of Oyster sauce. The vegetarian plate is always excellent. Modern versions of traditional New Orleans fare...it's AWESOME! You can wait at the Maple Leaf bar next door and they will come get you if you tell them. Casual attire, no dress code."
"Personal Favorite! Very funky, very new Orleans. Can't make reservations so expect to wait"

"Great food -- worth the trip across town. After dinner, check out whatever band is playing at the Maple Leaf next door."

"Great restaurant in the Tulane neighborhood."

"One of our Favorites. Also a must try!"
Ashley and Adam's NOLA Wedding Guide
"Fun, quirky eatery in a house. Walk through the kitchen to your table where you'll be greeted with warm cornbread while you look over the extensive seafood and meat menu."

"Katherine's Favorite Well returned to its pre-Katrina ways, Jacques-Imo's is the type of funky, colorful neighborhood joint that the natives love. But all that good-time vibe would be for naught if the food was less than stellar -- which, to be honest, some people feel it is. We've had some fine meals here, and some pretty underwhelming, certainly not worth the usual tremendous wait in line. Still, you may enjoy the serendipitous amalgam of traditional Creole, Southern soul, and New Wave innovative. The fried chicken is already a classic, and the shrimp Creole was a fine one -- big fat shrimp swimming in a perfectly balanced Creole tomato sauce."
